Eightcap has promoted its Sales and Client Success
Manager for Europe, Rositsa Radovanova, as General Manager for Europe,
according to her announcement on Linkedin today (Tuesday).
Previously Sales and Client Success Manager
Radovanova joined the Melbourne-based brokerage firm
in 2021 and served as the Sales and Client Success Manager for Europe for
more than three years. Prior to that, she was the Sales Manager for Admirals
Markets Group.
The University of National and World Economy alumnae
has also worked for other notable brands in the industry, among them
BetaTrader, where she was the Sales Manager, and ForexJobs.bg, where she served
as the Business Development Manager.
Last year, Eightcap named Alex Howard as the new Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Joel Murphy, who assumed the part-time role
of Non-Executive Chairman at the forex and CFD brokerage firm.
Howard joined Eightcap from StoneX, where he served as
the Head of Retail for the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, he was the Senior
Vice President and Managing Director for APAC at GAIN Capital, an entity StoneX
bought for $236 million in 2020.
“New year, new continent – Excited to start a fresh
chapter in Melbourne as the CEO of Eightcap,” Howard said. “After a fulfilling stint in Singapore, I am eager to
bring my experience and leadership to this dynamic organization and its
talented global team. I am confident with the passion and drive of the Eightcap
team; we will achieve great things and make a positive impact in the industry.
Let’s make it happen!”
Other Recent Developments at Eightcap
Early this year, Eightcap announced that it would cease providing services to prop trading firms, according to announcements by several prop trading firms. The company described the suspension of the services as “not uncommon,” and it came amid similar steps by other proprietary trading
firms and their brokerage providers.
In another development, Paysafe and Eightcap announced
an extension of their collaboration by launching a trading wallet solution.
This agreement sought to offer an integrated financial solution for Eightcap
and Paysafe’s partners and merchants.
Initially, Paysafe and Eightcap established a partnership
in 2016 by allowing Eightcap’s global traders to access payment options provided
by Paysafe, including digital wallets like Skrill.
