After
announcing a new director for Latin America (LATAM) a few days ago, ATFX has
just reported hiring another individual in the region, this time as a Growth
Manager. The position has been filled by Gary Fragoso, a FX/CFD industry newcomer who has spent the last several years gaining experience in various
sales and business development positions.
ATFX LATAM
announced on Tuesday that Gary Fragoso has joined its team. Based in Mexico City, Fragoso has spent the last few years working at companies such as AT&T, GSK,
Tata Consultancy Services, and Sutherland.
Despite
lacking direct experience in the FX/CFD industry, ATFX believes Fragoso
embodies a “passion for driving innovation and development.”
“Gary is
ready to lead our growth initiatives and expand our presence in Latin America,”
ATFX LATM stated in a LinkedIn post. “We are confident that his expertise and
strategic approach will be instrumental in reaching new milestones and
strengthening our community.”
This marks
another strategic move by ATFX in the LATAM market, following last week’s
announcement that Ergin Erdemir, after nearly six years in the London office,
has been appointed as the Head of LATAM to oversee the regional broker’s development efforts.
“I want to
express my gratitude to the ATFX team and especially to Wei Zhang for his
support and guidance along the way. Their encouragement has been invaluable to
me,” commented Erdermir.

Moves at ATFX
ATFX’s
moves in Latin America are not the only personnel changes in recent months. At
the end of March, the company announced hiring Graham Morris as Head of
Compliance for Australia.
Meanwhile,
at the end of February, industry titan Drew Niv joined the team as the new
Chief Strategy Officer. Niv is well-known in the industry for co-founding FXCM
in 1999.
“Drew’s
expertise will be instrumental in forming strategic partnerships that will
drive our commitment to delivering unparalleled services that cater to the
dynamic requirements of individual and institutional customers globally,”
Joe Li, the Chairman of ATFX, commented.
Also, ATFX expanded its team in February with a new Business Development Director for
the Institutional segment in the MENA region. Aditya Singh joined the team,
bringing a wealth of experience from the financial industry.
